Within the framework of the Year of Culture in Russia, in Gorky Park the III Moscow International Festival of gardens and flowers Moscow Flower Show 2014 – the Fashion Week landscape and park arts will take place.

The festival will bring together landscape industry professionals, designers and florists from Russia, Britain, France, Italy, Ecuador and other countries.

The reputable jury, headed by acrredited judge from the Royal Horticultural Society and popular TV anchor-man of BBC James Alexander-Sinclair, will name the winners in the categories of "Heritage Gardens", "Gardens of Russia", "Garden in a city", "Children garden", "City Vertical", "Show garden", "Land-art", "Art in the Garden".

For visitors of Moscow Flower Show daily lectures and seminars will be organized. For younger guests gaming master classes and competitions are prepared.

By tradition, the festival will be opened by charity marathon "The Flower of Hope".

On "The Day of Rose" (July 10) the new species of rose – the "Olympic" one, in honour of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, from French house "Meilland" will be presented at the festival.

"The Godmother" of the flower will become the renowned Russian athlete, Olympic Champion and holder of 28 world records Elena Isinbayeva.

The prospects of the industry development will be discussed at international park forum "The Green Strategies" (July 9-11). Within its framework the meeting of seven presidents of associations of landscape industry of Europe will take place.

By virtue of its scale, the level of participants, the richness of the programme and set creative and professional goals Moscow Flower Show rightfully holds a special place among the largest specialized events in Europe, it can become the significant factor for enhancing tourism attractiveness of Moscow.
